India's Monsooned Malabar is one of the coffee world's true originals. After harvest, the beans are spread out in open warehouses on the Malabar Coast and exposed to the humid monsoon winds for months, which swells them and strips away most of their acidity. The result is a heavy-bodied, very mellow cup with earthy, spicy and malty cocoa notes.
